Hope for LaGonave
Pray for Haiti - Although the national news isn’t reporting on it yet, conditions in Haiti are more desperate than they’ve been in decades…We are purposeful in limiting the details of information posted here out of security concerns for our local Haitian staff who are working extra hard encouraging both our teachers and students during these times….A quick search online for current news in Haiti will provide all you need to know...While we face these challenges, know that our ministry remains focused on providing both jobs, education, and all the tools needed to carry out this mission. The Lord has sustained this ministry for 16 years and we are confident He will continue to provide even in the darkest of times..Your prayer and support in helping us do so is so needed and appreciated. John 16:33 🇭🇹 🙏 ... See MoreSee Less

Hope for LaGonave
Grateful to report that, despite all the challenges in Haiti, our team of teachers continue to persevere in preparation of leading a new year of incoming students. This year we will celebrate our 16th year as a nonprofit/charity organization. Our focus remains to provide jobs and training along with real education based on truth to students in remote areas that otherwise would have no options…For security purposes we purposely don’t ”over post” but rest assured we remain in need of prayer and support. Thank you so much. 🇭🇹 The Lord provides. ... See MoreSee Less

Hope for LaGonave
A constant theme of prayer for the Island of Haiti has concerned the political upheaval of the past three years. Last night, Jovenel Moise, the president of Haiti, was assassinated and his wife critically injured. This signifies a more extreme undermining of the safety and security of the whole country in days to come. Thankfully both our students and teachers are safe. Please join us in prayer for reform and a restoration of peace in Haiti. Please also pray for Jovenel Moise’s family and all those affected by his death. ... See MoreSee Less

Tropical Storm Laura is being blamed for killing least 11 people as it battered Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico over the weekend with high winds and flooding. At least nine people died in Haiti and two are missing, the Associated Press reported. Now that the rain and winds have subsided in Lagonave, our leadership team is assessing what damage our school buildings have sustained. Prayers are appreciated for those who have lost loved ones as well as the many with major losses to property. We will post an additional update as details unfold. Thank you.
