We are in route back to the states after another great trip to the island. As the effects of the earthquake continue with increased food and gas costs we are thankful to the many who God has brought alongside this ministry to help with funding the various needs. On this trip we were able to distribute vitamin packets to each student. A big THANK YOU to First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, Arkansas and particularly, Tina Huddleston for coordinating all the details and preparing all 300 packets! Along with the vitamin distribution we distributed many bags of fortified rice/mineral packets to the children with greatest need. After the distributions, the kids cheered as the family of Parker Baugh presented a soccer ball for each of the 4 schools. The people were obviously very thankful. They were particularly encouraged in meeting Shannon Baugh Onnink, Laura Baugh, Becky Baugh, Benjy Baugh, Baylor Baugh, and Parker Baugh, all for the first time. Many remarked at how exciting it was to see the family continue to help the people of Haiti at this time of greatest need.
We also completed the first step in the child sponsorship program. Barbara Freeman, who is directing the sponsorship effort, secured profiles on 20 of the 300 children enrolled at the schools. This is the first phase of this program launch. Please pray for God to raise up sponsors for these 20 children as well as continued progress of the child sponsorship program.

As we continue to remind these people that God’s plan is always the better plan, we ask that you continue to pray for the gospel to advance in the hearts and lives of these children and their families. That as they see and hear the gospel that they will indeed trust fully in the perfect provision of our great and awesome God. That He would continue to grant boldness and clarity to us as we work to proclaim the truth of Christ as we work within the schools.
We are now looking forward to finalizing plans for the first medical clinic to be held in early July as well as more food and Bible distributions in the near future. Thank you for your continued prayer and support. To God be the glory for great things He continues to do!
