Kreyol Childrens Catechism booklets that was recently translated by a pastor friend of Matt’s named Eric Hausler.

Dear LaGonave School Sponsors,

Attached are some snapshots of the Kreyol Childrens Catechism booklets that was recently translated by a pastor friend of Matt’s named Eric Hausler. Eric is one of the many who we have reached out to in continuing this ministry on LaGonave. Eric’s months of effort in getting this translated into Kreyol is greatly appreciated! We were able to get the electronic version from Eric as it was completed and after having 500 La Pierre Catecism bookletscopies printed coordinated with a Pete “Mule” Onnick, one of the men working on a construction team to complete the “guest-house” on the island to make room in his luggage. In case you are unfamiliar with what the “catechism” teaching tool is, I have pasted the definition below from Wikipedia…EricHausler1

“A catechism is a summary or exposition of doctrine, traditionally used in Christian religious teaching from New Testament times to the present. Catechisms are doctrinal manuals often in the form of questions followed by answers to be memorized.”

Please continue to pray for a solid translation of the Bible itself. We have had a sponsor come forward to offer funds to get a Bible in each child’s hand. For that we are thankful. As soon as we can find a suitable translation locally we will move forward.

Thanks for partnering with us in this ministry!!!
